Food at West Leas Farm

Where possible we try to encourage our guests to try our local produce because
we believe that our area has some of the best fayre in rural England.
Please use our local shops and facilities and try to keep our local shops truly local!

We can also do the Saturday shopping and leave it conveniently in your cottage.
All sourced locally and delivered direct to your cottage.
Perhaps you're arriving late or don't want the hassle of shopping.

Highside Butchers - Kirkby Malzeard
Everything from home baked pies and pasties, locally farmed meats and eggs to game birds and venison when in season.

Shopping in Ripon
 Turn left at the end of the farm lane, after 100 yards turn left and take the road through Galphay, follow the road for about five miles, left again at the end of the road (give way sign) and past Tates garden centre on the left, 100 yards will bring you to a small hump type roundabout, bear right and after 500 yards a set of traffic lights.

Taking a left here and then a right in 50 yards will take you into Ripon market place where there is free parking (but don't forget to get a parking ticket) on the square except on Thursday (market day); additional parking can be found by following the road around to the other side of the square and turning left -  Sainsburys car park is across the next roundabout (50p for 1 hour / 80p for two £1.20 for four). Taking a right here will lead over a bridge and after the road "humps" stay in the left hand lane at the next set of traffic lights & turn left into Morrisons supermarket which has both a car wash, petrol station and a cafe.
